I became a member of theFrench National team in 2010, I am a bronze medalist downhill descender at the Junior World Championships in 2013. Since 2014 in the World Cup. I scored my first points and had my first big injury that year.
Subsequently I managed to get on my first podium at the highest level in 2016 during the Kvitfell Downhill in Norway.
The following season I was on the podium at Kitzbühel in Austria which for any descender is a reference. A childhood dream!
3 days later during the descent from Garmisch my knees gave way and caused an injury almost unprecedented in sport, a bilateral dislocation of the knees. Rupture of all ligaments, avulsion of all menisci, fracture of the tibial plateau, muscular disinsertion…
Close to the amputation of my two legs and after operations then never done, I go back 10 months later on the skis making me a person more famous in the medical world than in my own sport.
So I have been fighting to come back for 4 years. This season I won the European Cup ranking, scored points and regained a taste for the sport.
