Hello, I'mSéverine Beltrame
- Athlete in after career
- Sport: Tennis
- Location: 34 - Hérault

I started tennis at the age of 11, when the best of my generation (1979) were already far ahead.
I followed a classic school course, then after having graduated from my high school diploma, I went to Law School because I was injured.
When I came back I was finally able to devote myself to tennis. I really made it on the professional circuit in 2002. In 2004, I entered the Top 100. In 2005, I was honored with my first selection in the French Team (Fed Cup) alongside Amélie Mauresmo (generation 79 too) ) and Mary Pierce. In 2006, I reached the quarter-finals of Wimbledon and my best WTA ranking : 34th in the world.
Representing my country remains my greatest satisfaction.
This course was rich in experiences and allowed me to fully realize the chance I had to make my dream my profession. I was also able to deal with my post-career more easily.
Today consultant for BeIn Sports and for the French Tennis Federation (FFT) with young tennis players, I am keen to give back to my sport what it has given me. I am also involved in the integration of people with disabilities, with my association Les Amis de Jean Ba. And especially happy to have been able to imagine “Sportifs de Rêve, Rêve de Sportifs” with my sports industry friends in order to contribute to the development of High Level Sport.
