During his over 20-year long career, on the professional ATP circuit (from 1989 to 2010), Fabrice Santoro has turned out to be an unconventional tennis player. Not only because he is a two-handed player on both sides -which is rare in modern tennis- but also because of his ability to create a “spectacular” tennis. He won 6 titles in singles, and is also well known for his doubles career where he was ranked 6th in the world, won 24 titles (out of 42 finals played) and 2 Grand Slams. He led the French team to victory at the Davis Cup in 1991 and 2001 and allowed them to reach the finals in 1999 and 2002. His longevity on the circuit allowed him to establish many records, some are still standing nowadays. Since he announced his retirement, he works as a TV consultant (BeIN Sports in France, ITV in Great-Britain). He also coached Pierre-Hugues Herbert, Richard Gasquet and Milos Raonic.
