Paraplegic, following an alpine skiing accident in January 2004.
After an operation and six months in a rehabilitation center, I finally got my life back.
A life that has become harder, but full of great adventures.
I resumed alpine skiing the season following my accident, then water skiing the summer that followed.
Practices that I knew well, full of sensations, which had become totally different.
After 3 years in the French Paralympic alpine ski team, and because of my very demanding professional activity, I decided to devote myself solely to competitive water skiing.
During my 1st international water skiing competition, in Australia, I won my first 2 World Champion titles (slalom and figures).
It was in 2007.
In the meantime, as they say, it’s a long story….
15 titles of World Champion and 15 titles of European Champion!
After a break in 2015, to give birth to my daughter, I resumed competition in 2016 to keep my European titles.
And the following year in Australia I won 4 new world titles, and 2 more in 2019 in Norway.
The “resilience” allowed me to go through this ordeal and to make it a force to reach the highest level in disabled sport.
I also like to share my experience of long-term performance which depends on the willingness to learn from both successes and failures.
I can convey to you these two important concepts which are essential in professional and private life.
